The CI Summit is three full days of in-depth training for World Language teachers focused on techniques and strategies for acquisition-driven instruction (ADI). The CI Summit will not only support you in deepening and improving your craft, but will also provide ample opportunities to connect and share with others. You and your peers will be supported and served by three core pillars, which are:
Squads: Dive deep into collaborative learning with a small group of fellow educators who share your experience level with ADI and CI, and be supported by expert trainers and mentors who will allow you to connect, practice, and share in a supportive environment.

Studies: This is your opportunity to step into the role of language student! Not only is this a delightful experience (because who wouldn't want to learn a new language?!), but it's also incredibly insightful, because your language instructor will showcase the same ADI-based techniques you're learning about in your Squad, giving you a deeper understanding of what works, why it works, as well as actionable strategies you can take back to the classroom.

Spotlights: A mix between session and workshop, Spotlights illuminate your understanding of cutting-edge research and innovative teaching methods at the center of today's language-learning world. Each Spotlight is led by an expert presenter who focuses on a key topic, discussing that topic over the course of three sessions (one session each day of the conference). Commit to all three sessions for a deep investigation of that topic, or skip around for a sampling of many topics - you choose!

As you can see, at the CI Summit, you won't just learn about techniques and ideas; you'll receive in-depth, meaningful training and support in how to apply the techniques and ideas! This training is well-orchestrated and thoughtfully planned over the three days, ensuring you get the most out of your time. Attendees will also enjoy exclusive webinars and virtual support communities after the conference to ensure the community stays strong and everyone is supported.
